In the over 20 years I have been thinking about innovation there has been much progress yet still many organisations struggle to improve their innovativeness. Too often innovation remains a buzzword and seems to have become an end in itself. The 6 MasterClasses I have designed focus on what really makes a difference.
Bespoke workshops and events to facilitate your organisation's innovation agenda. To, for example, achieve alignment amongst senior leaders around an understanding of and agenda for innovation.
Coming to think of it, this is another facet of my professional life I really enjoy: public speaking and sharing my passion and insights around innovation with large (or small) audiences, from intimate pre- or after dinner speeches to addressing large conference audiences.
Facilitating workshops or sharing a conference is as much fun as presenting! Of course, if the conference is on a topic close to my heart - such as anything to do with innovation or design - the better!
This is about providing in-house teams and innovation directors with support. It can range from providing remote input into presentation and documents to face to face meeting and involvement in organising events, workshops and other innovation-relevant activities and is a role I not only have taken many times but also love particularly.
Understanding of the status quo is the foundation for taking action, research is the foundation for understanding. Whether it is a company-specific study, or a cross-company collaborative project, research is an essential ingredient for pushing the innovation frontier.
My teaching has a strong focus on innovation, design, entrepreneurship or a combination of those. In particular, a new species of Masters Degree: the Master of Business Innovation.
The Innovation Wave® is a facilitated assessment tool that provides senior managers with a snap shot of current conditions for innovation, and with that a starting point for identifying actions to improve these.
