Two major projects I have been engaged in over the years were first my own research into ‘Innovation Best Practice & Future Challenges’ which I have conducted four times between 2001 and 2010, talking to innovation directors and leaders across industries to find out what they were currently doing to improve conditions for innovation in their organisations—reports were published in 01, 03, 06 and 10.  The last one was self-published and can be purchased on Lulu.

The second was a project on the topic of ‘Discontinuous Innovation’, sponsored by the UK-based Advanced Institute for Management (AIM).  Working collaboratively between academia and industry, as well as across the Denmark, Germany and the UK we investigated how companies SEARCH (2006), SELECT (2007) and IMPLEMENT (2008) for discontinuous innovation.  The two reports and one workbook that summarise the output can be downloaded here.
