Academic Affiliations
Before receiving her PhD, Bettina achieved a degree in architecture, followed by an MBA from London Business School. She also published two books about innovation and developed the award-winning Innovation Wave®, a web-enabled tool for facilitated assessment and development of innovation capability.
Bettina’s affiliation with leading universities and business schools around the world energizes her work developing some of the latest insights into innovation.
Her guiding principle is maintaining academic rigour while constantly keeping practical relevance in mind. Her published work includes 3 books ‘The Innovation Wave’(2002) and ‘Managing Innovation Design & Creativity’ (2nd edition 2008), both published by Wiley. ‘The Future of Innovation’, an inspirational compendium of over 220 views from 57 countries, knitted together through commentaries by Bettina and her colleague Dr Anna Trifilova has been published by Gower in November 2009.
